Can it be used for solar collector systems?
Yes, AISI 304 is suitable for solar collector piping, but for very high temperatures (>200°C), we recommend AISI 316.
Is additional protective coating required?
In indoor environments, AISI 304 does not require additional coating. It is also suitable for outdoor dry environments.
