Stainless steel round tube AISI 316 (EN 1.4401), outer diameter 12 mm, wall thickness 1.5 mm. AISI 316 with molybdenum is the optimal choice in chloride environments, pools, marine installations, and pharmaceutical process pipelines. The 1.5 mm wall allows for higher working pressure requirements than thin-walled pipes.

Is AISI 316 resistant to hydrochloric acid?
Partially – it depends on the concentration. Highly concentrated HCl can corrode even AISI 316. We recommend consulting the chemical resistance table.

Is passivation required?
