What is the difference between a cap for railings and a cap for a pipe?
The cap for railings is designed to aesthetically fit onto the standard railing pipe diameter (42.4 mm or 48.3 mm) and provide a finished appearance. The industrial pipe cap is usually threaded (DIN/SMS) and intended for hermetic sealing purposes, not aesthetics.
Can it be installed without welding?
Yes – the standard cap for railings is pressed into the end of the pipe without additional fastening. A welding version is available upon request.
